Message from the HWISE-2005 Chairs

Many people have kindly helped us prepare and organize the HWISE workshop. First of all, we would like to thank the ICPADS-2005 organization committee for their support, guidance, and help for making the workshop. We would like to greatly thank Prof. Jianhua Ma, Hosei University, and Prof. Laurence T. Yang, St. Francis Xavier University. They kindly helped us to organize this workshop as ICPADS-2005 Workshop Co-chairs. We would like to express our special thank to Prof. Makoto Takizawa for his leadership as advisory chair of HWISE 2005. We thank Dr. Tomoya Enokido, Mr. Satoshi Itaya, Mr. Hiroyuki Yoshino, and other Takizawa Laboratory members for their hard and timely work to maintain the web systems for distributing information, receiving the paper submissions, review process, and sending notifications.
